PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The easyCharge 8080 from 2USB is a stand-alone USB power outlet with phone holder. With a total capacity of 2.4A at 12W and two USB ports, you can charge up to three devices at once.

PHONE HOLDER ON THE EASYCHARGE 8080

A USB socket is handy, we already know that. But in some places where you would like to charge, you do not have a surface available to put your phone down. That is why we have equipped the easyCharge 8080 with a phone holder.

On top of the USB socket is a slot, provided with a soft silicone mat where your phone is protected against scratches. The silicone mat is fixed in the slot when you mount the cap on it, so it cannot get lost. The length of the easyCharge is designed so that also the "big" phones like the Apple iPhone Plus series, the Huawei P10, or Sony Experia XZ fit perfectly in the phone holder.

DURABLE IN USE

We have done everything possible to reduce energy consumption in sleep mode. The current standby consumption, that is consumption when no devices are connected, is less than 50 milliwatts.

Of course it is also important how efficient the USB socket is when devices are connected to it. The easyCharge 8080 has a power efficiency of 80%. This means that very little energy is lost, for example to heat generation.

2USB CHARGEMAX TECHNOLOGY

Because we have become quite dependent on our smartphones and tablets, every minute that they need to be charged is actually one too many. We understand that like no other, therefore the easyCharge 8080 is equipped with our own ChargeMAX technology.

A smartchip that recognises which device is connected to the USB ports, and adapts to the charging protocol that is used. This way you can charge your device at maximum speed and save time!

ASSEMBLY OF THE EASYCHARGE 8080

The build-in depth of this USB outlet is only 16 millimetres. Therefore, it fits almost anywhere! Also in places where you do not have a wall socket, but would like one.

Think for example of the side panel of your built-in appliance in the kitchen. The appliance is already connected to 220V, and there is often enough space at the back of the cabinet to accommodate the built-in depth.

The two screw holes are exactly right for mounting on a standard flush-mounting box. If you cannot or do not want to use a flush-mounting box, we also supply two beads for installation.

Step 1 is to always disconnect the power from the group to which you want to connect the easyCharge and check that with a voltage detector.

The easyCharge 8080 consists of 2 parts. By loosening the central screw you can mount the back plate at the desired location.

Be careful not to damage the weak current circuit.

Put the cover back on and make sure that the tunnels in the silicon mat line up with the pins on the mounting plate. Then tighten the screw in the middle of the socket properly and you're done!

SAFETY AND QUALITY MARK OF THE EASYCHARGE 8080

As a quality brand, we find it essential that all our USB sockets are safe to use. For this reason, all our models are subjected to strict safety tests by the independent testing institute DEKRA already in the design phase. Only when the model has passed these tests and has a KEMA KEUR certificate do we proceed to production.
